San Mateo is where Peninsula Comedy is based. Our room here is Sky Lounge on East 3rd Avenue, a cocktail lounge with an Indian kitchen next door, a few blocks from the Caltrain station. It is the closest thing the Peninsula has to a proper comedy night without a drink minimum.

Sky Lounge is at 76 E 3rd Ave, two blocks from San Mateo Caltrain. There are public garages on 2nd and 4th Avenues and street parking after 6. Downtown has forty-odd restaurants within a five-minute walk, so dinner before the show is easy.
Not a dedicated club. Peninsula Comedy runs stand-up showcases at Sky Lounge in downtown San Mateo with comics from the San Francisco clubs. The format is the same as a club show: a host, a lineup and a headliner, in a bar with a full menu and no drink minimum.
Most Peninsula Comedy shows are free. When a show is ticketed, the price is on the show card and tickets go through Eventbrite.
