Open Mics
The rooms on the Peninsula where you can get stage time without driving to the city. These are the mics that feed the showcases, and the producer is in the room. Upcoming mic nights are on the calendar below.
Already Clocked Out
Blue Oak Brewing Company, San CarlosThe early one. A brewery crowd that just got off work, performers of every level, and a lineup that rotates. First-timers welcome. Strong sets get a look for the weekend showcases.
New Talent Showcase
The Rail Sports Bar & Lounge, San CarlosA mixed-level showcase at the room where Peninsula Comedy started. Newer comics work alongside regulars in front of a real bar audience.
The Midnight Mic
Marvin Gardens, BelmontThe late show. Ten to fifteen comics, a social crowd, no cover. Tips welcome. The best sets of the night get booked onto a professional showcase.
Low Acidity Laughs
Alpha Acid Brewing Company, BelmontA taproom showcase that mixes established comics with performers auditioning for a spot on the bigger shows.
